Welcome to FRANKHOST. By signing up for our services, you agree to comply with the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully to ensure a secure and reliable hosting environment for everyone.

1. Account Setup & Security

We will configure your account after receipt of payment and verification. You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. FRANKHOST is not liable for any account compromise resulting from weak passwords or shared credentials.

2. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Our infrastructure must be used for lawful purposes only. The following activities are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination without a refund:

  • Transmission or distribution of malware, phishing sites, or viruses.
  • Sending unsolicited bulk email (SPAM).
  • Hosting copyrighted material without authorization (DMCA violations).
  • Operating network abuse tools (e.g., port scanners, DDoS scripts).

3. Payment, Renewals, & Refunds

Services are billed on a recurring basis. Invoices are generated prior to your renewal date. Failure to pay will result in service suspension.

  • 30-Day Guarantee: Shared and Reseller hosting plans are backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee.
  • Non-Refundable Services: Domain name registrations, SSL certificates, dedicated IP addresses, and custom software licenses are strictly non-refundable.

4. Backups and Data Loss

While FRANKHOST performs routine system backups, your use of our service is at your sole risk. We do not guarantee the availability or integrity of our backups. You are strictly responsible for maintaining your own independent backups of your website data, databases, and emails.

5. Uptime Guarantee (SLA)

We strive to provide a 99.9% network and server uptime. If we fail to meet this guarantee in a given month, you may request a pro-rated credit to your account. This guarantee does not apply to scheduled maintenance, DDoS attacks, or user-caused errors.

6. Resource Usage (Fair Use)

Shared and Reseller hosting accounts may not consume excessive server resources (CPU, RAM, or Disk I/O) that negatively impact other users. FRANKHOST reserves the right to throttle or suspend accounts that violate our fair use resource limits until the issue is resolved or the account is upgraded to a VPS.

7. Account Cancellation

You may cancel your service at any time via the Client Portal. To avoid automated charges, cancellation requests must be submitted at least 48 hours before your next invoice is due.

8. Changes to the Terms

FRANKHOST reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting to this page. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
