1. Acceptance of Terms

HostePilot provides digital infrastructure services to individuals and businesses. Accessing or using the site, client portal, APIs, or services means you accept these Terms and any service-specific policies referenced here.

2. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration and billing information.
• You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized access, misuse, or security incident affecting your account.

3. Services and Service Availability

We may provide shared hosting, VPS, cloud services, domains, SSL certificates, email, DNS, migration assistance, and support tools. Features may differ by plan and provider. Service availability depends on the selected service level and any scheduled or emergency maintenance.

4. Acceptable Use

• You may not use HostePilot services for illegal, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or infringing activity.
• Prohibited content includes malware, phishing, spam, credential theft, and content that violates applicable law.
• We may suspend or restrict services to protect the platform, other customers, or third parties.

5. Billing, Renewals, and Refunds

Services are billed in advance unless otherwise stated. Renewals may occur automatically where enabled. If payment fails, services may be suspended according to the service plan or policy in effect. Refund eligibility, if any, is governed by the relevant product terms and any written offer displayed at checkout.

6. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate services where required for security, abuse prevention, non-payment, legal compliance, or breach of these Terms. We may also terminate accounts after giving reasonable notice where commercially and legally appropriate.

7. Intellectual Property

All HostePilot branding, software, designs, documentation, and website content remain the property of HostePilot or its licensors. You retain ownership of your own content and data, subject to the rights needed for us to operate the services you request.

8. Disclaimers and Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, services are provided on an "as available" basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Liability, if any, is limited in accordance with the governing law section and any applicable service-specific terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the services will be handled in the courts or dispute resolution forums with proper jurisdiction in Uganda, unless a different written agreement applies.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the services after changes become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
